I heard about WinkSite at the Social Media for Social Good conference last week. The event was hosted by PayPal and put on the The Social Media Club of Silicon Valley. One of the panelists, Charlie Treadwell, who works in Cisco's CSR Department, mentioned the site during a discussion of pragmatic uses. In that same sentence I could have sworn Charlie mentioned Text to Give, I couldn't get that to work easily through this platform even though you can customize a "channel" to dial a number.

The site's been around for quite awhile and has acquired a considerable number of users that you can actually connect with once setting up an account. David Harper, WinkSite Founder and C.E.O. says his team has a UI refinement in the works, but a release date isn't set yet.
